Privacy Policy

Underneath my version you can find the official version of how your data is treated.
By all means, go over it and if you have further questions: ask!

To make it easy for you, these are the relevant bits:

Your Personal Details
The relevant details are used for Paypal, Stripe, Memberpress, WordPress, Discourse and Drip, companies which all have solid privacy policies. I work with dependable companies only and neither they nor I share your details with anyone.

Email
I do not send out newsletters. If you like what Sovereign Empaths and Irreverend Hall are about, you have the option to check-in whenever the mood strikes you. The Discourse platform, “Irreverend Hall”, gives you the option to remain updated about posts, but you can opt out entirely or partially to suit your needs.

Opt-in only
I do send out campaigns (the various Series), but everything you receive you’ve signed up for. The number of mails in a series is typically limited.

Unsubscribe
Even so, you can unsubscribe from any and all mail at any time. This will not affect your membership: you cannot (accidentally) unsubscribe from account related emails.  You can, at all times, end your account.

Support
Should you encounter problems or should you need help with your settings, I’ll be happy to help. Just give me a shout-out in the Hall or email me via Support@IrreverendHall.com

SpiritualEnterprises.com, SovereignEmpath.com, and IrreverendHall.com are run by Danielle Brouwer, 4101BJ-3a, Netherlands.

And here’s the official version:

Who we are

Our website address is: https://irreverendhall.com & https://sovereignempath.com

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Through sign-up forms and registration we collect personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies. Financial data are collected and safe-guarded by the payment gateways Paypal and Stripe. The information you share with them is not accessible to us. We do not collect or retain sensitive personal data of any kind.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on this site or on the forum we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Your data, in the traditional sense, is not shared with anyone. As in: it is not sold or shared out for the benefit of third parties. Your data is shared for the purpose this website was created for: membership and interaction. As such your data is shared transactionally with Paypal and Stripe – payment companies; Memberpress, WordPress and Discourse – membership portals; and Drip – email service provider. They do not use this data to approach you or to sell your details to others. Their use of your data is purely transactional.

Analytics

At the present moment Sovereign Empath and Irreverend Hall do not make use of third party analytics such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. Should this change at any point in the future, you will receive a copy of our updated policy.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

Your visiting behaviour to the site is used in Drip automation, for the exclusive purpose of improving your experience: to decide which campaigns and products might be of interest to you and to make sure you are not sent the same campaign twice. Having said that, Irreverend Hall and Sovereign Empath do not send out newsletters: all mail you receive you have signed up for – and can at any point unsubscribe from.

All profiling remains with Irreverend Hall and Sovereign Empath and is not shared with others.
If you use a contact form to reach out to us, your name and email address will not be added to any of our lists and your information comes into our private inbox directly.
If you use a sign-up form to opt-in for any offer, your email address (and possibly your name) will be added to Drip Automation.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
